So true. Romney is the most awkward automaton guy ever. It would be entertaining to watch him try to talk like a “regular joe” if it wasn’t so painful.

Most politicians look odd when they’re trying to be “of the people.” W only really managed because he has his own ranch. 

While I think it’s unfair to necessarily be prejudiced against people who wear suits, it seems a lot more odd that political candidates feel this great need to put on a show to be “of the people.” 

They all pretty much go to expensive Ivy League universities. We all know this because we expect our leaders to be well educated. But we also expect them to be simple people who say “y’all” because otherwise we feel like we can’t relate to our leaders, and as a democratic country we wonder if they truly represent us if they’re not like us. 

Like I said, odd.
