warumkannsnichtperfektsein a réagi à votre billet : I’m quite disappointed with the college I…

I agree- I currently go to a private university charging me $45k a year, which is supposedly a uni only known for PT, Studying Abroad, and International Studies/History (which I do now). There’s little to do with a degree from here otherwise.

It just hurts. My family paid private school tuition fees. But frankly, hotel management generally doesn’t pay a lot for me to make good on their investment. Not just that, but it’s also not my preferred career.

But if employers or universities don’t recognize my years of study, what was the point of the money and time invested?

I have a few friends from successful families who have simply applied the knowledge gained into businesses their parents help them to set up, or if they take over the family business. But not all of us are so lucky, and have to rely on academic reputation.

And without reputation… What the hell.

Sorry, still ranting about my own thing.
