Portraits of passengers on the Moscow Metro, by photographer Benoit Paillé.
Although it’s not the focus of this photoset, I did want to say that the Moscow Metro is one of my favourites in the world.
Not because it’s efficient, or clean, or particularly fast (it is none of these). But because of the metro stations. Click the link for an interactive map.

St. Petersburg is well worth a visit, by anyone. The sense of history about the place is very strong.

Hue is the region where my father’s family is from. They have a loose relation with one of the old Vietnamese imperial dynasties, or at least I had been led to believe that. Vietnamese history is so difficult to be sure of.
The area of Hue is famous for different kinds of steamed rice cake, which are absolutely delicious. It also has the majority of pre-Indochine Vietnamese Imperial architecture. There are beautiful palaces and old buildings.
The central imperial city was heavily fought over during the 1968 Tet Offensive, and many of the old buildings carry bullet holes to this day.
Also, this photo is obviously photoshopped. :P

NASA said its Kepler telescope found a planet that orbits two suns — a larger a K dwarf and a smaller red dwarf, seen above in an illustration. The planet has been nicknamed Tatooine, the “Star Wars” body that also had two suns.

Been here. Although I’m not Swiss, there’s a little Swiss pride.
